Billings - We need your help to make the Safe Routes to School Plan for your school!
Sanderson Stewart and the Billings MPO are working together to bring safe routes to more schools in our community.
Use public input to identify safety concerns and opportunities on routes where children walk or bike.
Recommend safety improvement projects
Position schools to secure funding to make those improvements.
Your input is critical to creating a plan that reflects the needs of our community.
The local, county, state, and federal agencies will use this Safe Routes plan to prioritize safety improvements.
More input = better plan = better chance of getting funding for safety improvements.

With your help, we can create the safest, most effective plan for our children to get to and from school. We are already conducting a series of open houses at the participating schools, and are looking for your input through the survey & map.
Here's how you can help:
- Register for this site and participate in the online survey and leave comments or concerns on the area map (tabs at the top of this section).
- Check out the schedule on the right for open houses at each school and attend if you can.
- Volunteer for a walk audit at your school, schedules are on the right.
- Check back here often for updates, schedule changes, and news!
